Rio Grande Wild Turkey The Prairie Wind Hunting Club lands are the home for large flocks of turkey just waiting to challenge your prowess. As the Rio Grande turkey subspecies dominates the western two-thirds of Kansas, and the Eastern subspecies is common in the eastern regions, hybrid Rio Grande/Eastern birds are found where the two ranges converge. With the geographic location of Prairie Wind Hunting Club, there is opportunity to bag one of Kansas's Eastern, Rio Grande, or the hybrid toms. PWHC hunting lands lie in both Turkey Units 2 and 3. |
